Chinese porcelain bowl decorated in underglaze cobalt blue (qinghua), base with the four-character mark “chang ming fu gui” (a long life with honours and success), c. 1560, Jiajing reign, Ming dynasty, rare European silver gilt mounts with Augsburg hallmark from c.1610/1615, silversmith Hans I. Manhart, (master and married 1582✝1640), d. of bowl 15 cm, 8 in; w. with silver 19,5 cm, 7¾ in. 1.4034
