Chinese ceramic Yaozhou celadon dish the rounded sides rising from a short foot to a prominent rolled rim, the interior carved with three floral blooms issuing from a central branch against a foliate ground, covered overall with an even olive-green glaze, 13th century, Jin/Yuan dynasties, d. 12.5 cm, 4⅞ in. Provenance: Japanese collection. Inside the box a stamped seal of a shop or a collector: 駟德堂 Si De Tang. Si means: four horses; De means: integrity; and Tang means: hall/shop. 

Literature: Song Dynasty Ceramics, by R. Kerr, 2020 London, cat. 54, p. 73 for two bowls with 18,3 cm in diameter but with a similar floral decoration.

耀州窯青釉折沿矮足小盤,盤內雕有纏枝三花紋飾,橄欖綠色釉覆蓋均勻,13世紀,晉/元代,直徑12.5厘米,4英寸。

藏品來源:日本藏品。盒內有商店或收藏家「駟德堂」的蓋章。
