Very rare and fine pair of Chinese export porcelain tea bowls and saucers, both moulded as flower petals and seated on three little Chinese dogs, decorated in opaque enamels from the famille rose (fencai) palette with eight panels of flowers, in the centre a large blossom, c. 1730, Yongzheng reign, Qing dynasty. 3.12179

 This little tea bowls and saucers exemplifies the artistic imagination, high level of quality, and attention to the details from the porcelain of this period, which makes it unsurpassable. They are still highly desirable even two hundred seventy five years later.
