Two very fine Chinese export porcelain bottles, decorated in the Imari palette with rock, trees, flowers and butterflies, c. 1720, Kangxi reign, Qing dynasty, h. 16,5 cm, 6½ in. 2.11050

These bottles were copied from a European glass model and were kept in groups of four or six in a wood box with lock. The small size makes them very unusual.

十分精美的中國外銷瓷伊萬里方瓶兩隻,繪有山石、樹木、花卉和蝴蝶紋飾。約1720年,清康熙。高16.5 釐米,6½ 英吋。
